Markus Pfitzner elected to Viewpoint Board of Directors

On Wednesday, September 12, the Viewpoint Board of Directors elected Markus Pfitzner to fill the remaining term of the open seat on the Board.

As a faculty member teaching both emulsion-based and digital photography at Sacramento State Mr. Pfitzner would like to help form a stronger alliance between the Viewpoint Photographic Art Center and the University’s Photography Department. Both entities’ missions (in whole or in part) are to promote photographic art and education throughout the community, and a portal of communication between the two could generate mutually beneficial objectives.

Many Viewpoint members are familiar with Markus from the workshops that he has led. The Board welcomes Markus and appreciates his continuing contribution to the organization.
