Upon completing this workshop, participants should be comfortable photographing in a wide variety of lighting situations -- from relatively short exposures illuminated by ambient or industrial light and streetlight -- to longer exposures of ten minutes or more.
Films and digital capture will be discussed and compared.
The origination point for this three-hour workshop is the Viewpoint Gallery; where participants meet for a brief lecture.
The participants begin the hands-on segment of this workshop in midtown Sacramento, and then meander toward Old Sacramento (near the California State Railroad Museum).
One prerequisite is that participants know how to use their specific cameras (with full manual control), and have a firm grasp of the basic concepts of photography.
This intensive, on-location workshop is limited to 15 lucky participants. Register today!
