Instructor Bio: David Robertson has been interested in photography since college, where he learned how to develop his own negatives and to print black and white images. His photographs tend to reflect strong graphical elements and simplicity; regardless of subject matter. They have been described by NYC photographer and friend—Jay Maisel—as reflecting solitude, without loneliness. He has previously taught more than a dozen workshops on Lightroom, Photoshop, printing and B&W conversion at Viewpoint and at various photography groups in the Sacramento region. He has been a Lightroom instructor for the Barefoot Contessa Photo Adventures in New Mexico, Maine, California and Colorado.  David has also had several solo and group exhibits including a solo exhibit at the Pence Gallery in Davis (January 2008), a group exhibit at Viewpoint (May 2009), and a two-person exhibit in Roseville (May 2010), a two-person exhibit at the Grants Pass Museum of Art in Oregon (October 2011), and a group exhibit in Berlin, Germany (October 2015).  You can learn more about him, and see additional photographs, at his website: dlrobertsonphotography.com.
