This workshop will take place in the dark skies near Lake Tahoe about 1 or 2 hours from Sacramento. You’ll receive instruction and learn how to setup a composition before nightfall. Most participants will return to Sacramento after the workshop. However, some may choose to make their own hotel or camping arrangements near Donner Lake or Lake Tahoe.
Joe Fischer is a landscape and underwater photographer who specializes in the art of low-light and technical photography. His work as an instructor has taken him around the world where he teaches people how to use cameras under some of the most demanding conditions — underwater. On land he specializes in capturing the scenic beauty of California as well as migratory birds each year.
