Introduction to Lightroom with an Emphasis on the Library and Develop Modules with Farrell Scott

Lightroom is one of the most powerful and versatile programs available for organizing, processing and outputting your images. In this workshop you will be guided through a review of all of the modules of Lightroom, explaining their functions and how they can be useful to your workflow. Following this overview, the focus will move to the Library and Develop Modules—two powerful tools for organizing your raw files and crafting them into masterpieces.

The workshop will cover how to create a Camera Raw Default and progress through all the tools available in the Develop Module found in Basic including:

  • Tone Curve
  • HSL/Color
  • Split Toning
  • Detail
  • Lens Corrections
  • Transform
  • Effects
  • Calibration

You will also spend time learning how to use the Local Adjustment Tools to take your images to the next level. Hand-outs will be provided and please come prepared to take notes.

NOTE: For this full-day workshop (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.) a lunch break will be offered at noon. Please bring snacks, a lunch and something to drink as some downtown eateries are not open on Sunday and break time will be limited.
