Each of the four half-day sessions will be a combination of lecture, visual study and practical application:
Class includes lecture, photo walks around the Sacramento area and homework. A list of locations will be given to students at the first class meeting held at Viewpoint Gallery. The class consists of three-hour workshops given in four consecutive Sundays for a total of 12 hours of instruction and field work.
This fall, Farrell Scott was selected to be the Director of Marketing for Visit Sacramento. A native of Sacramento, she is also a commercial photographer specializing in the art of food, agriculture and architecture. Recognized for the natural light quality of her images and designer eye when it comes to composition, Farrell's ability to help clients achieve their own creative visions has made her a sought after commercial photographer & art director. Armed with over 25 years of marketing and design experience, Farrell combines innovative technology along with her artistic perspective and traditional photography methods.
