The workshop will begin early at 8 a.m. with a meet-up in the parking lot off the Visitor's Center (additional meeting details and what to bring will be emailed to all attendees several days prior to the workshop). After and introduction and basic instruction, John will take the group to a series of locations to set up various shoots with the model. Some of the highlights of the workshop include:
BIO: John G. Hernandez is a seasoned Viewpoint instructor who also teaches street photography each year. His classes are very popular with students because John carefully explains his professional techniques and enjoys working with students. He works as a photographer full time--jobs include: professional senior high school portrait photographer, a freelance photojournalist, and wedding photographer based in Sacramento. He received his degree in photojournalism at San Francisco State University in 2009. If not photographing for work, he spends his time doing his favorite hobby – capturing images of people both in the studio and on the street.
