Registration is closed for this event
The trifecta of image management, processing and manipulation. Photoshop is a beast of a program and can be quite intimidating to get started. This workshop will demystify all the fuss and break down the barriers so you learn to become confident and start to actually enjoy using Photoshop. This is a two-day workshop taking place on Oct. 9 & 10 from 9 a.m. to noon on both days.

The Painted Ladies, San FranciscoBefore diving into Photoshop we need to start with Bridge & Camera Raw. This workshop runs over two days - Saturday, October 9 & Sunday, October 10 from 9am-12pm each day.

During our time we'll be working with the combination of the three:

  • Bridge is the Library of all Adobe programs - we'll review the workspace, viewing & organizing your images, setting presets for metadata, keywords and more with integration into Camera Raw & Photoshop
  • Camera Raw is the Develop module of Photoshop - we'll learn about the basic adjustment tools available to get images ready to move into Photoshop
  • With Photoshop we'll develop an understanding of the most important features
    • Overview of the workspace layout, saving and resizing a file
    • Getting started with retouching tools
    • The principle of layers, adjustment layers and using masks
  • Demonstration through theory and examples
  • Hands on Practice

Please join us for this comprehensive workshop which has been well received by past attendees.

For this in-gallery workshop we are asking the attendees be fully vaccinated or have a negative Covid test in the last 48 hours. There will be masks and social distancing in the gallery set-up to keep everyone comfortable and safe for this live experience. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!
