Upon completing this workshop, participants should be comfortable photographing in a wide variety of lighting situations -- from relatively short exposures illuminated by ambient or industrial light and streetlight -- to longer exposures of ten minutes or more.
Films and digital capture will be discussed and compared
The origination point for this four-hour workshop is the Viewpoint Gallery; where participants meet for a brief lecture. The photo location for this workshop is picturesque Old Sacramento, including some of the outdoor exhibits of the California State Railroad Museum.
One prerequisite is that students know how to use their specific cameras (with full manual control), and have a firm grasp of the basic concepts of Photography.
