The Wacom tablet can be set up to permit different functionality with each of these two software programs. The pressure sensitivity of the pen tip is especially helpful with the painting functions that we use so often.
Laptops (installed with semi-recent versions of Photoshop or Lightroom) are suggested, but not required. Participants who already own Wacom tablets are encouraged to bring those tablets to the workshop.
This concise 3-hour workshop will fill quickly. Register today!

New York City is my home town. I grew up at a time when it was common for a young boy to ride the subways alone. By telling my parents that I was going to Yankee Stadium, I could lurk outside the jazz bars in the village. The Museum of Modern Art and the downtown galleries were my fascination. My father was an amateur photographer. His early gift of a "Brownie" hooked me.
A move to San Francisco in the '70's opened new doors. Great photographers like Ansel Adams, Michael Kenna and Jerry Uelsmann were accessible and I was fortunate to participate in workshops with them. These experiences brought a new awareness of the power of communication via the well-made image.
