This evening workshop will take place in the dramatic dark skies of the Shingle Springs area--which instructor Joe Fischer knows very well. Joe will show you how to combine night photography with light painting so you can capture the heavens with unique items of interest.

Joe Fischer headshotJoe Fischer is a landscape and underwater photographer who specializes in the art of low-light and technical photography. His work as an instructor has taken him around the world where he teaches people how to use cameras under some of the most demanding conditions — underwater. On land he specializes in capturing the scenic beauty of California as well as migratory birds each year. Some of his work can be seen on display inside the California Energy Commission building in Sacramento.
