Viewpoint Photographic Art Center invites all college and high school students of photography to submit photographs for an exhibit in the Viewpoint Step Up Gallery. This exhibit, titled Street Stories, will run from May 9 through June 3, 2017.
Street Photography is all about telling a story. “The decisive moment” was a phrase coined by Henri Cartier-Bresson, one of the earliest practitioners of street photography. “The decisive moment” is where everything comes together in a perfect moment, and you hit the shutter. The essence of street photography is about documenting everyday life and society on the streets.
