Join us for a special Artists Reception on Sunday, Dec. 12th from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. to celebrate this annual holiday exhibit and to hand out award checks and recgonition.
Over the last two years, society has taken precautions of social distancing and established six feet of separation as offering some greater measure of safety during the pandemic. We have changed handshakes to elbow bumps and nods have replaced hugs. Lines and shoe silhouettes on the floor in public places indicate the appropriate spacing while waiting room chairs hold signs forbidding their use. As a symbol of our emergence from the darkest days of the COVID-19 battle, TWELVE: Closer Encounters invited participating photographers in this annual open call exhibit to enter images taken within six feet of their chosen subject. As a result, this year's exhibit offers a creative and greatly varied up-close look at the world which surrounds us. The exhibits are presented in both the Main and Step Up Gallery and it offers a remarkable collection of images.
